How can I contact support?

How do I add a new spot to the map?

Tap the "Add" button on the map and fill in the details (e.g., name, category, and opening hours). If you are using the Free plan, you must be physically standing at the exact GPS location of the spot to add it.

What's the difference between Free and Premium plans?

The Free plan allows you to use the map and add spots, but you are strictly limited to your current GPS location. The Premium plan unlocks remote spot creation (allowing you to add locations from anywhere on the map) and grants your newly added spots immediate "trusted" status (golden pins) without waiting for community verification.

Why is the spot I just added grey or transparent?

FindMyCigs uses a community verification system to prevent fake locations. When a Free user adds a new spot, it appears as "unverified" (grey pin). As soon as another user confirms the spot by tapping "Verify," it turns into a trusted golden pin for everyone. Premium users bypass this step, and their spots are verified instantly.

How do I report a fake or closed location?

If you find a spot on the map that doesn't exist or is permanently closed, tap on the pin and select "Report a Problem." Our anti-troll system will automatically hide the location from the map once it receives enough reports from the community.

Are the locations on the map always accurate?

FindMyCigs is a community-driven map. While our verification and reporting systems filter out fake spots, we cannot guarantee the 100% accuracy of every user-generated location or its opening hours. Always be mindful of your surroundings.

How do I manage my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, depending on your device. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription settings.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are generally not provided for unused subscription periods, except where required by law. For In-App Purchases, you can request a refund through Apple's reportaproblem.apple.com or the Google Play Store within the applicable time frame.

Is my data safe?

Yes, we take data protection seriously. Please note that when you add a spot, the coordinates and details of that location become public on the community map. However, your personal account information is stored securely. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information on how we handle your data.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account directly in the app. Go to your Profile/My Account screen and tap on "Delete Account." Once confirmed, your account and personal data will be permanently deleted. Any spots you have added to the public map will remain, but they will be anonymized.
